We Have Arrived

Mansion House Welcome

At last we have arrived at the Mansion House in Oneida New York.  We left Lake Champlain Saturday morning June 26, and 5 hours later our mini-caravan pulled into the parking lot next to the Tontine, our new home within the Mansion House.  I drove a 15ft rental truck that swallowed up most of our meager belongings, while Vicki drove the VW Jetta filled with our computers, sound system and all of her cooking spices and baking flours.  This is our fifth move since we left California in the August 2008.  One of the great attractions of moving into the Mansion House is that we have no deadline when we will have to leave.   In Lake Champlain – we rented for three seasons – fall, winter and spring – and we were replaced in the summer by higher paying tourist renters.  In Montreal, we had a year visa.  But here in the Tontine, we are month-to-month and we can stay or go whenever we like.

We have all the time we will need to create a home and a media project.  Perfect!
